India's UV index regularly hits 8-11. Most sunscreens are tested and rated for UV index 4-6 (European conditions). SPF 50 blocks 98% of UVB — in India's UV environment, that extra 1% over SPF 30 matters. We use Tinosorb S and Uvinul A Plus — photostable filters that don't degrade in intense sunlight. Combined with Ceramide NP to actively repair barrier damage from hard water. This is not a basic moisturiser with sunscreen added — it's a defence system.
